Off-campus access to databases subscribed to by our library
Dear Academicians and Students,
Previously, our university`s VPN service was used to connect to SSL-VPN and access the databases subscribed by our library from outside the campus as if it were on campus.
However, due to the vulnerabilities in the SSL-VPN system used, the SSL-VPN service was replaced with IPsec VPN.
It is currently supported on Windows operating systems.
To do this, you can first watch the steps to be taken from the video shared below.
Warning: The connection speed of users connected via IPsec VPN is 8 Mbps per user. Therefore, we recommend that you terminate your IPsec VPN connection (Disconnect) when you no longer need the VPN connection.
